Volunteers Wanted!

Rule Processing in the Brain:

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR MAGNETIC RESONANCE STUDIES OF THE BRAIN

MRI is a type of brain scan that allows us to see how the brain is organised, processes information and performs skills like speech or memory.  This scan is safe and does not involve any needles or injections.

We are looking for healthy volunteers to improve our understanding of how the brain processes rules.  The session would take about 1.5 hours of your time.  You would be asked to lie still in a scanner and perform some simple tasks like using simple rules to direct your eyes to particular images. As a thank you we offer a £50 Amazon voucher.

Who are we looking for?  People aged 18 to 35 who are healthy, fluent in English, have no history of neurological or psychiatric diagnosis and, in the case of women volunteers, are not pregnant.  You will be asked questions about your medical history to check your suitability for an MRI scan.

If you are interested and would like more information please contact Matthew Danvers from Royal Holloway University of London on Matt.Danvers.2019@live.rhul.ac.uk. The MRI scan would take place at the FMRIB building (WIN) at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

Thank you for your time!
